Catfish Live Bait Rigs

Both patterns of our catfish livebait rigs are tied on 45lb 'Kryston Quicksilver'.  For presenting a bait just below the surface we have a purpose made rig utilising a 30mm polyball which on its day, (well more likely night), is absolutely deadly.  Our other option, the 2 x 20mm polyball rig is recommended for use below the surface, and can be fished at any depth.  This rig presented up on the surface is likely to get the attention of other unwanted predators, such as sea gulls, herons etc, and thats why we recommend the 30mm option as with this rig when the polyball is on the surface the bait is still below it.  Each rig comes with a run ring and an 8mm rubber bead as these, with their minimal resistance makes the job of getting your bait up in the water a bit easier.
