Rocket Boat Pennel Rig

This running lead rig is tied on 80lb 'Sakuma' rig body and features an ajusti dart boom which enables you to add the lead of your choice. The 20lb 'Amnesia' hooklength is approximately 3 feet in length and comprises of penneled 3/0 & 4/0 Aberdeen hooks.

This rig is available in the following sizes:-

Size 1/0 & 2/0, 2/0 & 3/0, 3/0 & 4/0 or 4/0 & 5/0 Aberdeen hooks.

Please note that 3/0 & 4/0 and 4/0 & 5/0 hooks are tied on 30lb Amnesia hooklength.

Penneled hooks means two hooks together which enables you to use a more substantially sized bait. Put your bait on the bottom hook securing with bait elastic if necessary, then wrap your hooklink around the top hook 3 times before knicking it through the top of the bait making sure that both of your hook points are unmasked. For best results, have your top hook emerging from the opposite side of your bait to your bottom hook.
