Rocket Single Paternoster (Distance Rig with Impact Shield)

This rig is tied on an 80lb 'Sakuma' rig body and features a 20lb 'Amnesia' snood with sequin bait stop to a 1/0 Aberdeen hook which clips down to a breakaway impact shield. This makes the rig both aerodynamic whilst at the same time protecting the bait as the name suggests 'on impact' with the sea. This is a good choice of rig when you want to fish at range.

Size 4,2,1,1/0, 2/0,3/0, 4/0 or 5/0 Aberdeen hook or 4, 2, 1 or 1/0 crab hook.

Please note sizes 4/0 and 5/0 are tied with a 30lb 'Amnesia' hook length.
